about

This EP was inspired by the beautiful scenery, spirit and calm of the north west of Scotland, which we experienced in early September. The places we visited and stayed had a profound effect on us. As I composed and recorded the music I could visualize clearly the sights, sounds, smells, spirit and feel of this amazing part of our nation. The one song on the EP, 'Iona and Mull', with words and vocals by my wife Clare, sums everything up beautifully. Enjoy!

'Iona and Mull'

A thin place
Where heaven meets the earth.
Vibrant and shimmering,
Silent and still.
Heights and depths.
The ancient and the new.
The Divine, weaving in and out…
connecting,
creating
dimensions and ages.
Exhilaration!
Peace…
…that lingers
beyond.
